The Stories

William Jones, Ojibwa Texts (1919), rebuilt four-layer with the footnotes this system grew. Already public; here, readable — and never flattened.

Read the entry note on the home page first. These are not fables. The text is public; the understanding is not. Come in to wonder.

Every story now carries all four layers: Jones’s 1917/1919 printed Ojibwe, the restored Fiero, Jones’s English, and a word-by-word gloss. They still wear the word draft — on purpose, until community review.
